Southeast Asia Tourism Consulting for European Destinations | Ultsch Consult

Your destination is on the other side of the world. The booking decisions are on ours.

Ultsch Consult provides tourism consulting for Southeast Asia — helping European destinations, attractions and tourism providers become visible and bookable in the region's travel trade.

The Reality

How Southeast Asia's travel trade actually works.

Southeast Asia's travel industry does not discover new European destinations through advertising or social media. Purchasing decisions — which destinations to promote, which products to feature, which packages to build — are made through relationships with trusted partners. Agents and operators work with who they know. New entrants need an introduction from someone already in the room.

We are already in the room.

What We Do

From positioning to pipeline.

We start by understanding your product — what makes it genuinely interesting to Southeast Asian travellers, which segments it fits and how it sits against the European options those operators already carry. We do not introduce a destination to the wrong buyer.

Once the positioning is clear, we work the market. We identify the most relevant tour operators, wholesalers and travel agencies in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore. We make introductions personally, explain your product in context and create the kind of first impression that leads to a second conversation.

We support trade fair and roadshow appearances, set up B2B meetings in-market and help you maintain the relationships that matter beyond the initial introduction. Southeast Asian trade partnerships take time — we stay involved to make sure momentum does not get lost between visits.

Where We Work

Four markets. One strategic focus.

Thailand

Strong outbound demand for European destinations. Alpine regions and cultural cities top draws. Bookings through tour operators and personal referrals.

Vietnam

Fast-growing outbound market. Multigenerational family travel to Europe is an emerging dominant trend. Tour operators remain the primary booking channel.

Malaysia

Established outbound market. Muslim-friendly destinations are a primary selection driver. Strong MICE segment. Kuala Lumpur as regional trade hub.

Singapore

Sophisticated outbound market with high spending power. Shorter booking cycles. Strong appetite for curated European experiences.

Florian knows the Nordkette and he understands what this experience means for guests from Southeast Asia. He doesn't present a product. He conveys a feeling. That makes all the difference.
